This one has been on my TBR list for quite some time, so I'm glad I finally got to it.
Man, I knew it was gonna be bad (not the book, the feelings I always get when reading intense fantasy), but they still get me every time. Fearless will probably be okay though...???? (my poor heart)
Also like, for some reason it seems to be thrilling in YA fantasy when people die for no reason other than to satisfy the whims of evil corrupt rulers? Unfortunate.

Hot damn, I really don't like love triangles, especially confusing ones 😭
I want to know what Kitt and Kai were both thinking. Did they just...not notice each other both trying to get Pae? Do they just not talk about girls? Or is it some sort of competition, as in "may the best win"? If it is, why doesn't Kai mention Kitt that much (in this regard) in his POVs, or talk to him at all about this?
